Coaching

As a CPC (Certified Professional Coach), I maintain an uninterrupted working relationship with clients as either they or I move beyond Missouri state lines. As a CPC, I work with people from all over the world. Though the coaching I provide is informed and influenced by over 26 years as a clinical psychotherapist, it is not psychotherapy and no diagnosis is provided.

Coaching sessions are for those who are:

  • seeking professional, personal or spiritual growth
  • transitioning through challenging and/or overwhelming life events
  • grieving loss, betrayal or disappointment
  • seeking to cultivate healthy relationships with self and others
  • wanting to create sustainable, life-enhancing behaviors now and in the future
  • recovering a relationship with self and recovering from a relationship with other

Counseling

As a LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) with over 26 years of clinical experience, I continue to provide much needed mental health therapy in the state of Missouri. Exploring childhood family dynamics, medical history, and the impact of past traumatic life events may play a significant role in understanding how to manage the current symptoms of mental illness.

Counseling or therapy sessions are the appropriate level of care for those who are:

  • specifically requesting therapy versus coaching
  • a good fit for the level of care I can provide outside of a hospital or clinical setting
  • seeking services to treat a medically diagnosed mental illness
  • struggling to implement healthy coping strategies due to mental illness
  • have been advised by a health care provider to seek therapy due to a diagnosed mental illness
